Winning research funding involves more than just filling in an application form correctly: although this is an important step. This blog is designed to help you find the right type of funding opportunity. It contains information on all aspects of the grant application process, including funders, examples of successful research proposals and useful contacts.
Please speak to the Director of your Institute and the Research Director, Viveka Erlandsson (maths-research@bristol.ac.uk), who can assist you with your grant application. Also see ‘Guide to Proposals‘.
All current and open funding opportunities for mathematicians are listed on this site. You will find useful information along with links to current and ongoing calls and a list of successful applications by research staff in the school of mathematics.
Please note that you should complete a FEC ‘Full Economic Costing’ using worktribe. Worktribe is a Full Economic Costing (FEC) tool which enables robust costing and pricing of our research project proposals and other research activity. The project overview provides the background to the project.
Please make sure that the research director and the director of your institute are informed about a proposal well before deadlines or planned submission dates.
